Design & Dev started in Los Angeles as a small experiment, a simple idea: bring together designers, engineers, and product people who wanted something deeper than another networking event. It grew into something bigger than I expected, a place to meet collaborators, share work, learn together, and build real community.
Over the years my work took me to other cities, and I kept meeting the same kind of people looking for the same kind of home. I spent a good stretch of time in New York, including my years at Instagram, and saw firsthand how much this city has to offer, and how hungry it is for a community like this.
So we brought Design & Dev to New York. Same welcoming, high-signal space, built for the people shaping NYC's tech scene. Everyone is welcome. Come build with us.
